Welcome! I am,  Alana J. LeMelle owner/founder of Kaptivating Faces Makeup Artistry located in Lake Charles, Louisiana, with travel accommodations upon request. My career as a freelance makeup artist began on the campus of Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. There, I was able to build an exceptional clientele all while obtaining my degree in rehabilitation services, and  becoming a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

After graduation, I moved back to my hometown, Lake Charles, and began my career in case management. Although, I worked 9-5, I never lost sight of my true passion. Kaptivating Faces makeup artistry continued to thrive over the years. I've serviced hundreds of women, had the honor of being apart of tons of special occasions, and featured on BET's HBCU spotlight. One of my biggest accomplishments, was launching my second business, Kaptivating Beauty. KB is my cosmetics brand that was launched April 16, 2022. I currently offer makeup accessories (lip gloss, lipsticks, blush, brow pencils, lashes, etc.) which are available for purchase on the "shop" link above. I look forward to servicing you soon!
